The Executive Chef is:

Experienced, preferably 3+ years of culinary management in a high-volume restaurant

Detail-oriented and thrives in a meticulous environment

Driven and professional with a passion for leading, educating and training staff

Proficient in menu and recipe development, food quality management, systems and food costing

Knowledgeable of food and kitchen safety and sanitation standards

The James is hiring an experienced, dynamic, and hospitality driven Front of House Manager!
The James is a neighborhood restaurant offering traditional American fare in the heart of James Island in Charleston, SC. With an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere, The James offers familiar dishes and top-notch hospitality, creating a community gathering place to return to time and time again.

We are looking for someone with experience in a bustling environment – those comfortable and confident in their ability to move about the floor by assisting team members, interacting with guests, and being a problem solver. Our company is highly focused on the people that make it happen every day, and we seek managers who also value a team in this same way.
The Restaurant Manager:
